What are some beginners' yoga poses for the upper body/chest?

I had chest surgery awhile ago and in lieu of physical therapy my surgeon said I should do yoga to help stretch out my upper body muscles.
What are some beginners poses/moves I could do?
And what do I first need to know/have before I start?
you may want to try a beginners yoga dvd.
Personally i would recommend going to a yoga studio and taking beginners classes there. This way the instructor can keep an eye on you. But once you get going - it saves time by having a beginners yoga dvd at home.
this site makes a recommendation for a beginners - i think most would be good if you do it step by step - careful not to over do it.

Also, are there free videos online of them? I'm taking a new interest in yoga. :)
Not sure about free videos online, but there are beginner yoga DVDs at places like Walmart for under 10 dollars. Also, if you have ON DEMAND or FIT TV CHANNEL, you can likely find a number of yoga videos.
