Olive Oil?
What is the different between virgin olive oil and extra virgin olive oil and does it matter which one you use in a recipe? Will it make something taste worst or better depending on how virgin the olive oil is?
The extra virgin olive oil comes from the first pressing of the olives, and the regular virgin olive oil is further processed. When it comes from the first pressing, alot of the flavor is preserved and the taste is much better. I always use extra virgin olive oil. It doesn't really matter which one you use in a recipe, though.
