Could any of these ingredients cause a black colon?

My mom just had her second colonoscopy done. The DR. said that her colon is black. She told him that she is taking a product called "colon helper" to help keep it clean. He suggested that she stop taking it, yet her test results showed no problems. Here is the list of ingredients for this product. If any of these ingredients are causing this, I would appreciate you telling me which one it is. She has had no side effects with this product, and has been taking it for years.

Does Hydroxycut work as a diet helper?Is it dangerous? Also does anyone use colon cleansers to lose weight? ?

My grandson has to lose at least 10 pounds by late Februaryto get into the Army. Is Hydroxycut ok to use and does it show up in the Urine test as some sort of drug that is banned. Also does anyone use those colon cleansers and do they work and how.?..Does Green Tea work...He needs a fast fix...He is lowering his calorie intake, but so far he hasn't lost any weight. Hydroxycut and all those colon cleansers are just BS. Nobody has ever lost fat and kept it off thanks to hydroxycut or a colon cleanser. Unsweetened green tea won't hurt, but it definitely isn't some miracle tea.


To lose fat:
1. DON’T BELIEVE THOSE FAD DIETS! DIET PILLS ARE GIMMICKS!
2. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! Unless you are 4ft tall, a 1,200 calorie a day diet is DANGEROUS and won't work in the long run.
3. Calculate your BMR. Do a google search. A good calculator would ask for your age, height, weight, and activity level.
4. Eat healthy and eat about 500 calories a day less than your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Your BMR is how many calories you need per day to maintain your current weight.
5. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism up. Each meal should include fruits, veggies, water, and protein.
5. Drink at least 64oz (8 8oz glasses) of water a day. No soda (that includes diet soda).
6. Do light/moderate cardio 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time. Running, bicycling, and swimming are great for this.
7. Do some strength training to make sure you lose fat and not muscle. Don't worry; you won't look like the hulk if you lift weights.
8. You should lose about 1-2lbs (.45-.9kg) per week. If you lose more than that, chances are the rest is stool, water weight, or even muscle mass.
9. Weigh yourself only once a week at the same time (ie every Friday morning). Your weight fluctuates a lot during any 24hour period because of water and food intake and also bowel movements.
Be patient and be smart. If you follow this guideline you will be very happy with your results.

Cochren humbled by outing support

Chuck Cochren feels overwhelmed, and not by the Type 4 colon cancer that he has fought since learning of it in January.

“It was very humbling,” the 45-year-old Wood Memorial and Oakland City University grad said of Saturday’s Benefit for the Big Man golf scramble that drew 30 four-person teams and an estimated 250 visitors, players and non-players included.

“It’s humbling that so many people came  out to take part in this,” Cochren said Monday afternoon from his Bloomington home.

“Words can’t describe how it made me feel.”
