Is Cancer Mercury too passive for Sagittarius Mercury in relationships?
Jul 25, 2011 by Blah Blah | Posted in Horoscopes
My friends boyfriend was flirting and holding hands with other girls right in front of her and she said nothing about it, btu you could tell in her face that she wasnt comfortable with it. She is Cancer merc and he is Sag merc. So I'm thinking it's that?
It may drive the Sagittarian to look elsewhere. Mercury in Cancer tend to cling to past memories while a Mercury in Sagittarius look for adventure, the future and is more idealistic and optimistic in communication. Cancer is more passive and holds back.

can two people with different mercury signs still be compatible?
May 27, 2010 by Daisy | Posted in Horoscopes
the boy has mercury in aries. the girl has mercury in taurus. but their sun and moon signs are very compatible. he has sun in taurus, moon in taurus. she has sun in taurus, moon in scorpio.
can it be a problem in relationships if mercury signs are quite different? or would it just add spark? thanks :)
These two are compatible because Aries is impulsive and thinks quick. Taurus is contrary. He or she is slow to think and respond. This can be good because it would make the Aries Mercury more practical in his thinking. It would also push him to slow down and think before answering. But Taurus has patience whereas Aries has none. So that can cut the conversation or put a cap on it.
Having said this, you are both very stubborn so I don't know if this is a perfect match. Scorpio Moon will be more controlling in the relationship. Secondly, if their are some disagreements, and their may well be some, neither of you will give in to the other because you are BOTH STUBBORN. If you can compromise and work on this, then, you have a shot at making a good relation.

Stanford law professor argues black women should cross race barrier...
11.09.11
One from Harvard Law, cum laude, '94), professional (14 years at Stanford Law School), married to a black woman (Stanford social psychology professor Jennifer Eberhardt, whom he calls "the most brilliant and beautiful woman I have ever met").
The project grew out of an intellectual journey that is part of his scholarship at Stanford Law School, focusing on two long-standing interests: racial equality and discrimination, and family and children. Many Stanford-based colleagues and friends helped him refine his arguments, and Stanford students helped with interviews.
"It's a good thing to get married, I think, if you find someone you want to be with," says Banks, who attended elementary school with Eberhardt in inner-city Cleveland. "I did find that person."
But most black women face a big problem, he asserts. High rates of incarceration and job-market discrimination against black men have created a gender imbalance. Then women confront the venerable economic model of supply and demand -- scarcity creates excess demand for black grooms, tilting the terms of courtship to men's favor. Many simply sidestep commitment.
