Transits 2 - Predictive Astrology

Do most people not really feel very strong the outer planets transits until within 1-2 degrees usually?

i know the inner planets have much quicker transits and they can be within 3 degrees ?

but does one not really have to contend usually with one of the outer planets transiting until it reaches within 1-2 degrees?

why or why not for this?

please explain.

thanks for your answers!

From what I've read that seems to be the consensus. Don't know the technical reason.

is it possible to avoid negative 1-2 day transits such as sun squaring uranus?

such as sun squaring uranus in 3rd house?

had this transit in my natal chart last weekend, and i didnt have anything unexpected or bad happen.

is it best to not really do anything if possible during such transits?

though i did not go anywhere that day and worked on a project at home instead.

please explain.

I personally don't believe the stars make anything happen to you, they're only reflecting what is already happening via synchronicity. I do not believe that astrology can predict specific events, only archetypal themes that will be in play. A particular aspect can play out in an infinite number of ways, but it will stick to the archetypal themes of the planets, signs, houses and aspects involved.

That said, actively choosing to do something productive with the archetypal themes represented by the transit can make for a positive experience of the transit. :) Also the aspect you're talking about is a more generational one anyways: everyone in your age group was having the same transit!

Beyond that, some transits are more active than others depending on your particular chart. You'd be more likely to notice a transits effect if the sign of that planet was highlighted in your chart for the year.

BART board to discuss cutting of cellphone service

Bay Area Rapid Transit's board of directors will convene a special meeting Wednesday to discuss the agency’s decision to cut off commuters’ cellphone service earlier this month to preempt a planned protest that authorities believed would disrupt trains.

The board will discuss the Aug. 11 action and hear testimony on whether the tactic should continue to be used to assist BART police officers as they confront protests.

The three-hour suspension of cellphone service in downtown San Francisco tunnels has already triggered a Federal Communications Commission probe and prompted constitutional law scholars nationwide to debate the intertwining interests of free speech and public safety on government-controlled transportation systems.

Meanwhile, activists with the loosely organized global hacking group Anonymous are planning their second protest on the train platforms at 5 this evening in response to what it considers censorship. The action comes one week after the group first called on its backers to protest on subway platforms. The protest could snarl the commute if protesters move to block trains as they did last week. Officers in turn closed four downtown stations for about 2 1/2 hours.
