Worst infomercial products

MADISON (WKOW)--Television infomercials make big claims about their products.
The Good Housekeeping Research Institute investigated dozens of the most popular products and found some aren't worth the money.
The Point N Paint, claims to "paint an entire room in less than an hour". But the Good Housekeeping Research Institute says don't get whitewashed into thinking it actually works.
"We tested the claim that you can paint a room in an hour. We were able to do a very small room, and it was done very poorly," reports test engineer Rachel Rothman.
Point 'n Paint is especially bad around moldings and fixtures; the edges aren't precise, and GHRI had to use brushes and rollers to touch up these areas.
And stick to an old fashioned watering can to water your plants, because while Aqua Globes say they'll automatically water houseplants for up to two weeks, the reality is they're hard to fill and tricky to install.
