Yoga? Pilates?
My New Years Resolution is to take better care of my body, and myself, inside and out. I am trying to workout more to become healthier. I am not in good shape, i am in okay shape. Would it be okay to do a yoga class and a pilates class, or should I just chose one or the other?
Which will burn more calories the fastest?
I've not done much pilates, but I LOVE yoga. It's great for toning and flexibility.
For maximum weight loss, get some cardi exercise in there...but do the yoga and/or pilates to keep your muscles toned as you lose so you're not flabby.
I have yoga videos and DVDs that I use at home and enjoy...anything with Patricia Walden or Rodney Yi works for me (others are kewl too, but theirs are my favorites).
