Which treadmill to buy: Sole F63 (internet) or LifeCore LCT1000HR (local dealer)?

The Sole is $1238 delivered, w/setup. It seems to get rave reviews on the web; but I can't buy it locally, only from the manufacturer's website. The LifeCore I can buy from a local dealer who does their own service, from whom I've bought equipment before. The LifeCore has a bigger motor (3hp vs 2.5), higher top speed (12mph vs 10), and heart-rate programs, which the Sole does not. But it's $1698 with taxes and delivery/setup. Both have lifetime warranties on the motor and frame, the LifeCore is 5 years on parts, the Sole 3 years.
Currently I only do 2 to 2 1/2 miles, 4 days a week, around 35-40 minutes. I mainly walk but I want to be able to do a moderate running speed eventually. Anyone have experience with either model? Would you buy locally or try the internet-only option? Are 1/2 a horsepower, 2mph, extra programs, and a local # to call worth $460?

Do you have a treadmill?

Hi,
I’m looking to buy a treadmill for me and my family, one member is above 300 pounds which is making the buy a bit more complicated. Since our budget is low ($1,000) I came to a conclusion of three different treadmills.
I’m hoping with your help I will come to a full conclusion.
Do you or know someone who has any of these treadmills; Sole F63 Treadmill, Nordic Track T9 CI

Which one would you recommend?

Honestly, I don't know anything about any of the mentioned models. However, my family does have a Nordic Track brand treadmill that we bought used (I think it might have been a pricier model than the ones you named, just by taking a quick glance). We paid around 500 dollars for it used but in good shape. A few people in my family are around 300lbs but it never gave out or anything like that, in fact it still works just fine now a couple years after we got it. There is a total of 5 family members using it. My reccommendation to you would be to try shopping around for a more expensive or heavy-duty treadmill used. And I can reccommend Nordic Track treadmills as a good brand. I hope I helped some.
