Landice treadmill vs Precor treadmill?

I'm not sure what to do about this, and I need help buying a new treadmill. I have a Precor elliptical that works great and never had a problem. We had it for over 5 years and now we want to buy a treadmill. I read consumer report and the Landice L7 its concider the best in the industry, but people that I talk to tell me that it takes forever to get support from Landice and that some companies here have stop carrying Landice because their lack of support.

Can someone help please.

If you talk to people that are in the industry, they will more than likely tell you to look on treadmilldoctor.com. Depending on what you are looking for, PaceMaster would be another American made product to consider with a lifetime warranty model at a more reasonable price. It all comes down to how the machine feels for you and the features for the price that you are willing to pay. Life Fitness is also a good company to look at at that price range. I personally have had issues with Landice service and my tech. has problems getting Precor parts in a timely manner. It sounds like you've either got a loose wire or a short in your console. The best thing is to call Landice and have them walk you through a diagnostic for your machine. It might be something they can get fixed right over the phone. However, I do know that a lot of Landice units have problems with their control boards and they needs to get replaced. If you purchased your machine locally then you should have the Landice lifetime warranty and it should be a quick fix.
