How does Cardio fit into Bodybuilding?

If you're trying to bulk up (I'm still rather new to this) then how should/does cardio fit into a bodybuilding routine?
I'm only 128 pounds, female, and 5'1, but is cardio necessary, and does it affect results?


Cardio is important for your heart. But if you are at the stage when you try to bulk up then you may do cardio just 1-2 per month now.

Can you tighten your stomach with cardio exercises on wii fit.?

I have wii fit plus. I really like it and have no problem using it. Recently I have noticed my stomach has some fat that I don't like. Would using my wii fit cardio exercises help it?


it won't hurt, but it won't specifically target your tummy.

cardio increases your heart's health and strength. but it also burns calories, so that will help any other targeted exercises you're doing. you'll also have to change your diet, mainly by cutting calories.

so your best bet is to do the cardio, eat less, and do lots of sit-ups and crunches (work those abs!)
