I want to get a wider saddle, and I saw a Schwinn for sale. Are Spinner bike parts exclusive to Spinner, or can I use other brand parts (primarily the saddle).
Been spinning for a while - just got my own bike for the home...
You should be fine but look underneath the seat to where it connects to the top of the seatpost .There are a few bikes that have flat linear rails instead of tubular and then the top piece of the seatpost might have to be replaced .
This is a rare occurrence but a quick look see might save you a trip back to the shop.
I get the odd feeling that you are talking about a stationary house bike.If so then the seat very well could be with oddly shaped rails or even attached to the seatpost with a weld.
If it is a welded post/seat then using a caliper or equivalent to measure the diameter of the post will be needed before going to a shop as they will not be able to guess what size it is.And 'no' they are not all the same, not even close.
I hope this can be of help to you.

i am going to buy spinner rims for my bike, but it says "free wheel" spinners, what does that mean?
Jun 05, 2006 by shady5013 | Posted in Hobbies & Crafts
free wheel = if you pedal backwards you just spin, the freewheel is screwed on to the hub and doesn't come with the wheel.
coaster brake = there is a foot brake and if you try to pedal backwards you stop the bike, the chainwheel in the back is part of the hub
If you have to stop your bike with handbrakes, you should be good to go (you'll probably have to get a freewheel also if the spinner is a complete wheel).

You can’t locate any more with regard to generally be seeking for a match controller or console the reality that Black Friday undoubtedly, game titles companies are generally searching to examine up to date mixtures of sizzling guides and consequently do it yourself that can help progress devices prior to any tip of calendar year. I am new to triathlons and biking and I started training about 3 months ago. All my bike training has been done i a gym using a devise bike. I unprejudiced got a habituated to bike and I'm looking for pedals and shoes. I am a bit messy about pedals (clipless, cleats all new to me) will all pedals fit most shoes? If anyone can excuse this discussed to me i will cherish. My budget for shoes and pedals is about 150-200$. My bike is 06 Quintana Roo. Thanks
Course shoes as a rule turn out in a "3 predicament" original for cleats. Most dominating pedal systems fit this yardstick. If you buy from a blow the whistle on buy, they can suppose accurate they all fit together, and will quite introduce them for you, included in your gain appraisal.
For $200, you can obviously get a lovely probity setup. I would start by looking at your local bike look for to see if they have any shoes on selling or closeout. You might be masterly to pick up some scrupulous carbon soled shoes for less than $100. One period i got some $250 shoes for $90 because they were the last yoke and discontinued. My tri shoes were an old color, so they were 25% off too... you never certain.
but not all cleats from one pedal will fit another pedal. Another words my sample is this, I have yoke of shimano pedals cleats spd/sl my new bike has look pedals, I have to supersede the cleats on the shoes and swap out the shimano cleats for the look ones. I am not so cheery about it, because cleats on shimano are bigger, and have more footprint when off the bike, the look cleats have zero purchase.
+1 to "Not all cleats fit all shoes." Take the however to do your scrutiny (as you're doing now) to get the tickety-boo configuration. And it may be foxy to get mountain bike shoes because they have recessed cleats and you can boardwalk on them . . . don't. Get course shoes and method pedals. Also, in your budget, you'll have to do some shoppin' around. Pedals/shoes can top out close $1,000 (ie, top-end Looks and Sidis . . . not that I have that combo or plug it), so $150-$200 will take some looking. But this is the correct every now of year for that.
