Is the Air Climber worth the money? Why or why not?

It is in my opinion a rip-off.

The device looks like an assisted stepper, but lacks the support of real steppers, and balance a real treadmill would provide.

You would have to have good balance to stay on this "3 easy payments of $39.95" device. At $120 + S&H you would be better off, paying $20 to your local gym for 11 months.

It also looks like it is mostly made of plastic, and the pump, which supposedly provides the extra work under the pedals seem like would wear out soon, loosing pressure. Once those harmonica pumps spring a leak, the device is useless.

Again, save your money and join a gym for the $120. If that is not an option, start walking around your neighborhood. If that is not an option, then get a stationary bicycle. Or a real one, and a rack.

How soon will i see results with the air climber?

I want to buy the air climber but before I do I want to know if it really works and how soon will I see results? It looks cheap so that's why I need to know.

this is a cycling section but let me answer this for you....this thing has been around for years and any cardio work out is good if you aren't doing anything, but some are better then other. it will burn some calories but how may is based on how hard your using it. but what will matter just as much is how much you eating a day. you won't get any results if you caloric intake is still more then your body burns during the day.

I’m a big fan of National Geographic. I get the magazine, I go to National Geographic Live events, I have several books by the company and a lot of documentaries. I even occasionally get the song stuck in my head. The one thing I haven’t been a fan of…are the video games. You would think since I’m the owner and editor-in-chief of a gaming website that a combination of two things that I love would-be a no-brainer for me. Unfortunately, the National Geographic games I’ve played have been pretty bad. I was unimpressed with National Geographic Panda and Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure was downright terrible. In fact the only fun I’ve had with a National Geographic game, was with the National Geographic quiz pack I downloaded for Buzz! Quiz TV .

With this in mind, it’s no wonder that I was happy to hear that Relentless Software, makers of Buzz! Quiz TV as well as games like Buzz! Quiz World and Blue Toad Murder Files
