Police seek possible runaway teenagers

Burlington police are seeking two missing teen girls that may have run away from home, according to reports received Wednesday evening.
A Police Department news release stated that Burlington police officers responded to 418 Wildwood Lane in reference to a runaway juvenile report at 5:45 p.m. Monday. Family members told police that Lanishia Salde, 16, had left home stating she was working until 9 p.m. and did not return home.
Slade is described as a black female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, with an average build and weighing approximately 140 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing her work clothing for Harris Teeter.
Slade is operating a gray 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass with N.C. license plate ZWC-4317 belonging to her grandmother.
Police believe Slade may be with another runaway, Camyra Long, 17, of 808 S. Dale Court, Burlington. Long is described as a black female, 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds. She was reported missing Tuesday afternoon.
