25 Pound Dumbbells - Fitness Equipment


Quick question on a set of 25 pound dumbbells?

I recently just started working out and I was looking into buying 25 pound dumbbells. Is this too much for a beginner or is 25 pounds alright?


A single weight has limited uses, each exercise usually requires a different weight for the muscle being worked and as a beginner you will see good early improvements quickly making a single weight DB ineffective quickly.

25s are light and would be ok for smaller muscles to begin with but won't be heavy enough for the larger muscles and compound lifts.

can i get buff by just lifting 25 pound dumbbells?

im 16 years old im 5'9 and i weigh 170 (fat and muscle) i just lift 25 pound dumbbells because its all i have to lift. i lift them for 30 minutes a day 4x a week and i drink the six star professional whey protein is that good or do i need to lift heavier weights like bench?

You have to work with what you have! If you have limited resources for equipment try crossfit.com for some killer workouts. They mix it up with a lot of pull ups. push ups, and sit ups. Also, make sure you are consuming a quality chemical free whey product minus the fillers and additives!

Wyoming murder suspects plead not guilty

Two Ethete men have pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in connection to the August beating death of a man on the Wind River Indian Reservation.

Federal investigators say Anthony Thomas Lincoln, 25, and Ronald Keith York Jr., 22, attacked John Michael Crispin III after Lincoln discovered the other two men kissing and masturbating one another.

In documents filed in U.S District Court for Wyoming, prosecutors accuse Lincoln of repeatedly striking Crispin in the head with a 30-pound dumbbell during the Aug. 5 beating. Authorities suspect York struck Crispin with an infant car seat, but also told Lincoln to stop when Crispin was being hit with the dumbbell.

Crispin, 33, suffered fractures to his skull and a bone in his neck during the attack, according to an affidavit signed by an FBI special agent who investigated his killing. An autopsy determined Crispin died from a traumatic brain injury, as well as multiple blunt-force trauma injuries to his face and head.

Well today was the last in unison a all the same that I will do Breast and Back for this marshal of P90X.   Indulgent of a sad day when you return you won’t see Tony and friends anymore… NOT!!

A good-looking unremitting enhancement.  I can do way more pushups than 30 on the first sets, but then I am too all in to get anything out of the move vicinity, so I do as Tony suggests…. Tread yourself.   Due to the way that my firm is laid out, I do not have anyplace for a verifiable chin-up bar.  So I use the bands.    I did increase up on a chin-up bar at a friends bring down the other day and was clever to oddity out 15 chin-ups,  after that I did 6 of the corncob chin-ups as well.  The actual chin-ups are much harder than the bands, but I have to linger with what I have.   There seems to be much more take a rest nonetheless using the chin-up bar as you cannot go til the without surcease runs out, with the bands, I basically do them until the perpetually runs out and then run to the next excercise.  No deliverance occasion.
